Argyle Pink Diamond Tour will be launched in China for the first time

On September 14, Rio Tinto announced that the Group’s auction of Argyle Pink Diamonds in China will start soon.

This event will showcase 55 rare pink diamonds in the world, and select individual diamond dealers, collectors and connoisseurs for the first time to see their presence in China. Following the previews of the Hong Kong Preview and the Australian Pavilion at the Shanghai World Expo, the Argyle Pink Diamond Tour will be held in Shanghai and Beijing together with the famous Chinese retailer Chow Tai Fook.

Jean-Marc Lieberherr, general manager of Rio Tinto Diamond Sales and Marketing, commented on the China Travel Show: “The pink diamonds produced by Rio Tinto’s Argyle diamond mine are a treasured treasure, and they are also among Australia's export products.
