Thermal control is the most critical place in the manufacturing process of strapping belts. Only the control of thermoplastic molding can make the strapping quality pass.
1, mold. The configuration of strapping molds is relatively simple. Take the example of our commonly used PET strapping tape molds, which are generally composed of upper and lower halves. The melt molding cavity is conical near the barrel end and gradually becomes fishtail toward the discharge end. The cross-section of the die mouth is a flat-shaped mouth. After processing, the flow of the molten material in the mold should be smooth and curved.
2, auxiliary machine. As long as the auxiliary equipment for the strapping belt is composed of a cooling water tank, a stretching and heating device, an embossing device, a cooling and shaping roller group, a traction roller and a take-up device, the structure of the auxiliary machine for producing monofilament and flat yarn is basically similar. Among them, the cooling water tank consists of steel plate welding assembly, which is equipped with cooling circulating water, used to cool and solidify the packaging belt blank. The cooling water surface distance from the mold mouth is 150~250mm, and the cooling water temperature is controlled below 30~40°C. The stretching heating device is composed of two groups of drafting rollers and heating devices, fast and slow. The heated strip is drawn through the difference in speeds of the two sets of draft rolls to the desired product thickness and width.
