Welcome to the country of MAIOLICA! This is a series of mid-summer bets that make you an eye-opener. MAIOLICA is a pottery-printed Italian. It is also a special gift presented by Dolce & Gabbana for you this summer.

The series is inspired by the hand-painted ceramics of Mediterranean culture, especially the small town known as the Ceramics: Caltagirone. The main symbol of the city is Santa Maria Monte's 142-step giant staircase built from the old town of 1608. The characteristic is that every step is decorated with different hand-decorated ceramics, using styles and data from the millennia of traditional pottery.

Once a year, on the day of the patron saint of the city, (St. Jacobs group, July 25) different colored candles will be placed on the stairs to form an extremely gorgeous picture. In addition to paying tribute to the designer Domenico Dolce's hometown, this vibrant and colourful Sicilian city also allows us to deeply feel the rich folk traditions and customs of southern Italy. Painted on white, creating a modern twist with stroke details. Of course, a lot of loved ones are loved by everyone.

The elastic waist belt combination not only improves the color of the drawing, but also emphasizes the curve of the female waist. This styling also uses special shooting techniques. In order to enhance the "ceramic fanaticism" feeling, the colors and series strength are displayed in ceramic cases with overlapping styles and accessories.

Inspired by the traditional Sicilian “bride”, the designer uses advanced techniques to embroider the following pieces. Before forming the dress, the surrounding of the fabric is further embroidered with silk threads of different colors to make the “hand-painted” sense more three-dimensional. Mediterranean typical hand-painted ceramics, Caltagirone precious pottery, and craftsmanship derived from Sicily inspire the precious details of classic timeless prints, clothing and unique accessories. Tailoring and superior craftsmanship have always been the essence of Dolce & Gabbana's series of designs, and are embedded in its iconic costumes that are timeless and feminine.
